Terms
Use the Runners Gateway platform with care.
Runners Gateway is operated by Avallach Technology. These terms apply to Runners Gateway and the related services made available through the same account system, including Run Coach Run, Runner Card / MyRunCard, public profiles, pages, microsites, check-ins, posts, comments, Journey, reset, encouragement, and community features. Use the platform in the spirit it is intended: supportive, respectful, honest, and focused on helping people keep going.
Last updated: 9 June 2026. This is a plain-English product terms page, and it should be reviewed properly before any major paid or legal rollout.
One Account, Several Surfaces
A Runners Gateway account may let you use several connected surfaces: the main Runners Gateway app, MyRunCard or Runner Card profile features, Run Coach Run page tools, public pages, public microsites, and related community or publishing tools. The service name or domain may vary, but your account, profile, content, and activity remain part of the same wider Runners Gateway platform unless we clearly say otherwise.
Avallach Technology is the underlying business and legal operator. Runners Gateway is the running and walking social platform/community hub. Run Coach Run, Runner Card / MyRunCard, and related services are product surfaces or entry points within that wider Runners Gateway platform.
Accounts And Content
You are responsible for the profile, Runner Card, MyRunCard, pages, minisites, posts, comments, images, links, calls to action, and other content you choose to add. Do not post anything you do not have the right to share. Keep your account details safe, and do not use the platform to impersonate someone else or misrepresent your connection to a coach, club, fundraiser, group, event, or organisation.
You can edit or remove your own content where the app provides controls. We may hide, remove, restrict, or suspend content, pages, links, and accounts when needed to protect people, respond to reports, prevent misuse, comply with platform or legal obligations, or keep the service running safely.
Public Profiles, Pages, And Minisites
Some parts of the platform are designed to be public. This includes public profiles, Runner Cards / MyRunCards, Run Coach Run pages, platform pages, public microsites, and share links. Public or unlisted pages may be viewed by people outside your immediate account, shared by others, indexed by search engines when public, or captured by third-party services beyond our control.
If you create a page for a coaching business, club, fundraiser, community, event, or other project, you are responsible for the accuracy of the claims, pricing, offers, testimonials, fundraising statements, images, contact details, and links you publish. Anything that looks like an endorsement, testimonial, result, charity claim, or paid offer should be truthful and not misleading.
Content Permission
You keep ownership of content that belongs to you. By adding content to the platform, you give us permission to host, store, display, resize, format, reproduce, and share it as needed to run the features you choose to use. For example, we may need to show your profile, Runner Card, page, microsite, image, post, or link preview on public routes, feeds, search results, social previews, emails, or other platform surfaces.
Do not upload images, copy, logos, testimonials, or other material unless you have the right to use them. We may remove content that appears to infringe rights or create risk for the platform or other users.
Community Conduct
Do not post content that is abusive, harassing, hateful, discriminatory, misleading, spammy, deceptive, illegal, unsafe, or designed to exploit others. Do not pressure people around pace, distance, body size, health, injury, disability, identity, or personal choices. Encouragement matters here, and users should be able to participate without judgement.
Running, Walking, Health, And Coaching
Runners Gateway is not a medical service, emergency service, or substitute for professional advice. Check-ins, posts, guides, community discussion, coaching pages, and Run Coach Run minisites may include running, walking, training, wellbeing, or health-related information, but you are responsible for deciding what is suitable for you. If you are unwell, injured, unsure, or managing a medical condition, seek appropriate professional advice.
External Links And Third-Party Services
Runners Gateway may link to external services, communities, payment pages, donation pages, booking tools, social networks, websites, apps, or embedded content. Those services are outside this platform and may have their own terms, privacy practices, moderation, fees, availability, and account controls. Use external links with care.
Free And Paid Features
The free layer is intended to be useful, but limits may apply to pages, storage, bandwidth, publishing tools, custom domains, support, and other features. If we offer paid features, premium accounts, or service packages, the relevant price, renewal, cancellation, and feature details should be shown before you buy.
Account Pause, Deletion, And Retention
Account settings include pause and delete controls where available. Pausing is reversible. Deleting marks your account as deleted, removes your avatar, and hides your active profile from normal app surfaces. Some records may remain where needed for security, moderation, backups, legal reasons, operational integrity, or to preserve conversations and activity that other people took part in.
Service Changes And Availability
The platform is still growing, so features, names, domains, limits, routes, and policies may change over time. Legacy routes for blogs, clubs, and programmes may remain available for old content or admin access, but they are not the primary app experience. We aim to keep the service useful and available, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or unchanged forever.
